The Chicago Police Association of Nevada sponsored the 3rd Annual Veteran's Home BBQ on October 20th, 2007 at the Boulder City Veteran's Home here in Nevada.  Once again the event was a TOTAL Success enjoyed by all.  The idea of a BBQ for the Vets started in 2005. The appreciation on the faces of the those at the Boulder City Veteran's Home convinced our Association to make this an annual event.  Here are a few pictures of both the Vets, the Staff of the Boulder City Veteran's Home, members of the Care Bears who have joined CPAON in honoring those staying at the home and last, the Thirty Plus members of the Association who came out to give a hand in the worthy event. Last, but not least I must add a SPECIAL THANK YOU to my Co-Chairman of this event, Skippy Havlicek and his wife Donna.
