Great NEWS Flash..... The new board of directors that office on September 2nd and announced plans for the Annual Reunion of 2009. The dates are June 7th, 8th, 9th & 10th, 2009 and will be held at the Orleans Hotel and Casino. We are planning on several events taking place during the event including a Golf Outing, Lake Meade Cruise, Cocktail Party and a Dinner. As soon as plans become final they will be announced and available to be downloaded here on the site.

JUST WANTED TO LET EVERYONE KNOW THAT ON SATURDAY, OCTOBER 4th, 2008 CAPAON HELD IT'S ANNUAL VETERANS BBQ AT THE BOULDER CITY VETERANS HOME IN BOULDER CITY. CLUB MEMBERS MET AT 10 AM AND STARTED COOKING. THE BBQ OPENED AT 11 AND WE FED EVERY PERSON STAYING AT THE VETERANS HOME INCLUDING THE STAFF. GREG BERNACKI and SKIPPY HAVLICEK WERE PLEASED TO SEE THE THIRTY PLUS MEMBERS WHO CAME OUT TO HELP COOK, SERVE AND FEED THE VETS. IT WAS A COUPLE OF HOURS OF THEIR TIME WHICH BENEFITED THE MEN AND WOMEN CONFINED TO THE HOME. IF YOU WERE UNABLE TO BE THERE, TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES AS THE ARE ON LINE.

The 2007 Annual Reunion is over, everyone from out of town has gone home and there is little left except for the memories of the good times and faces of long lost friends. Now it is time to start again, plans for 2008 need to be initiated as soon as possible to reserve hotels, dates and times. The Board of Directors of CPAON will make 2008 a main topic at their next meeting and ideas will be presented at the July meeting. Don't just sit back and talk, take part and join the planning of 2008. We want and need your ideas and input, tell us what you liked or did not like, help us plan the event. Everyone who has attended any one of the past reunions must have some idea of what they would like, either be at the meeting in July or send us an email and share your thoughts. What would you like to see at a reunion?

ANNUAL CHRISTMAS PARTY - 2008
The Annual Christmas Party, is always the last Gala Event of the year. This year the party will be held at the Elks Lodge located at 4100 W Charleston Ave, Sunday December 7th, 2008. Everyone should be reminded that we have always participated in the Toys for Tots Program which is ran by Jeff Becker. Jeff asked that we start informing everyone that we are collection new unwrapped toys which Jeff and his Wife will transport to the Children before Christmas. Doors open at 5 PM with Dinner served at 6 followed by entertainment and cocktails. The price of a ticket is $15.00 and includes two bar coupons. Pictures from last year are on line, take a look.
