JUST WANTED TO LET EVERYONE KNOW THAT ON SATURDAY, OCTOBER 10th, 2009 CPAON HELD THE LAST WAYNE CAMPBELL VETERANS BBQ AT THE BOULDER CITY VETERANS HOME IN BOULDER CITY. CLUB MEMBERS MET AT 10 AM AND START COOKING. THE BBQ OPENS AT 11 AM AND WE FEED EVERY PERSON STAYING AT THE VETERANS HOME INCLUDING THE STAFF. GREG BERNACKI and SKIPPY HAVLICEK ARE PLEASED TO SEE THE NUMBER OF MEMBERS WHO COME OUT TO HELP COOK, SERVE AND FEED THE VETS. IT IS A COUPLE OF HOURS OF YOUR TIME WHICH BENEFITS THE MEN AND WOMEN CONFINED TO THE HOME. IF YOU WILL BE UNABLE TO BE THERE, TAKE A LOOK AT THE PHOTOS WHICH ARE ON-LINE AND SEE WHAT YOU MAY HAVE MISSED.

The 2009 Annual Reunion is over, everyone from out of town has gone home and there is little left except for the memories of the good times and faces of long lost friends. Now it is time to start again, plans for the next need to be initiated as soon as possible to reserve hotels, dates and times. The Board of Directors of CPAON will make 2010 a main topic at their next meeting and ideas will be presented at the July meeting. Don't just sit back and talk, take part and join the planning. We want and need your ideas and input, tell us what you liked or did not like, help us plan the event. Everyone who has attended any one of the past reunions must have some idea of what they would like, either be at the meeting in July or send us an email and share your thoughts. What would you like to see at a reunion?

Don Conner, has once again entered our official squad in the
2009 Super Run Car Show in Henderson, Nevada.
The Show ran from Thursday, Sept 24 thru Sunday, Sept 27th, 2009
The Squad will be at the District on Thursday and on Water St.
in downtown Henderson on both Friday and Saturday
Don will be there with all kinds of CPAON Memorabilia and is
hoping everyone, members and non-members from the Chicago
area stop by our the display. Thanks for the show Don!

ANNUAL CHRISTMAS PARTY - 2009
The Annual Christmas Party, is always the last Gala Event of the year. The last party was held at The Willows of Henderson on Saturday, December 12th from 5:00 to 9:00 P.M. with dinner being served at 6:00. We have a great menu planned and a D.J. complete with a light show for your entertainment. Tickets are now on sale at $15.00 each per member and one guest. Additional guests or non-members are only $20.00 each. Everyone needs to be reminded we have always participated in the Christmas Toy program for the Children of Child Haven run by Jeff Becker. He asked that you be reminded to start bringing new un-wrapped toys to the next meetings and the Christmas Party. Jeff and his Wife will transport them to the Children before Christmas. This year we are holding a Grab Bag for those who would like to participate. A minimum price of $15.00 has been set for the gift you bring. Door Prizes were the hit of the 2008 party and just about everyone walked away a winner. Nancy Domuret asked that if anyone has or knows of somebody willing to donate a prize, get started collecting them now.
